It’s that time of year, when we all make an extra effort to be grateful for the wonderful things in our lives and give back to our communities.
Here at Ella’s Wool, we want to make sure we have a positive impact on our wonderful customers and the world. That’s why we have consciously made decisions on how to operate during Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and the following days.
Over the past several years, the days following Thanksgiving have exploded in popularity. Not just Black Friday, which has long been a bit crazy, but Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday, and Giving Tuesday.
We wanted to find a way to share our love for the outdoors, learning, and high-quality wool during these special days.
We want to help children in need stay warm this winter and be able to play and learn outdoors, and so we've decided on a simple but meaningful way to give back: donating wool.
So for every item sold between November 27 and December 1 (Black Friday through Giving Tuesday), we’ll be donating 25% of the purchase price in wool clothing to kids living in shelters.
We’re calling it Giving Back Friday, and we hope that you’ll join us in supporting our communities this season.
