TUBES - Knit Leggings - Old Stone House (Gray)

Tubes are Scandinavian style merino wool knit pants for boys and girls.

Have you ever been wondering how Scandinavian kids can play outside all year long in very cold weather?

Here's the secret:

In addition to wearing an all-covering next to skin merino wool base layer underneath a shell layer (like wind/rain or snow pants), they add a layer in between the base and the shell which is made from a thicker kind of ribbed wool knit. This layer is cozy and soft, but not bulky so that it is easy to play and move like normal.

Made from ultra soft, organic merino wool, Tubes leggings are machine washable at a cold delicates/wool program, with good wool detergent.

Even though the Tubes are originally meant to be worn as a second layer,  many kids like to wear them under, over, between layers, or with no layering at all. Sometimes even as a PJ's. (Great for a cold nights camping!).

This way of layering will keep your kids comfy, warm and dry all winter long.

Tubes leggings are meant to last a long time. Roll down the cuffs for as your child grows.

Inseam (inside of the leg to heal) measurements:

  • 9-18M: 11.5"/29cm. Cuff rolled down: 14"/35.5cm
  • 18M-3Y: 12"/30.5cm. Cuff rolled down: 14.5"/37cm
  • 3-5Y: 14"/35.5. Cuff rolled down: 17"/43cm
  • 5-7Y: 18"/46cm. Cuff rolled down: 20.5"/52cm

"I’m extremely impressed … I love that these pants are made of high-quality wool that's super comfy to wear without being itchy."

"The Tubes are like magical pants! They are designed to grow with your child and to be worn first cuffed and later uncuffed for more length."
